LaserGen’s PME 2.0 Instrument
LaserGen’s novel Pulsed Multiline Excitation (PME) detection technique improves sensitivity and specificity of DNA sequencing. PME provides better quality data, faster analyses, and portability. This enables a range of applications including basic and clinical research, drug discovery, medical diagnostics of common disease and cancer, detection of infectious disease, forensics, biological warfare detection, food-borne pathogens, personal genomics, and personalized medicine. LaserGen has obtained exclusive, world-wide rights to the PME technology through a license agreement with Baylor College of Medicine and Rice University.
